1996 keyless entry remote programmingtooter3147 03-16-2006, 05:27 PM I own an 1996 nissan altima and just bought a new remote from the keylessride website. MY car did not come with a remote and I was wondering on how to program my new one for my car. Onblsht 03-18-2006, 08:08 PM According to the KR website - instructions would have been included with your order. MO 97 Alitima 05-12-2006, 09:59 PM Help. The Nissan dealer sold me a remote for my 1997 Nissan Altima Limited edition. But did not have instructions or information for programing the remote. They stated that it was "Port Installed". the part # is 999M2-8f001S VSS Trasmitter. It looks the same as the damaged one. Does anyone have information on how to program the remote? MO FixUrNissan 05-16-2006, 08:21 PM Most Nissan remotes are programed like this... 1. Get into car and close all doors and lock them. 2. Take ignition key , Put into ignition and out of ignition. In and out motion , slowly till hazards blink. 3. after Hazards blink , turn key on ( DO not Start it ) and hit remote lock button. Lights should blink .then turn key off unlock door and open it. close it and check remote operation , it should work . If you are programing more than 1 remote. after pressing the lock button on the remote, With the power door lock switch , Unlock all doors then re-lock , then press second remote, and so , ends the same way GL.. :) Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
