2001 Silverado Wiper Problem

My windshield wipers seem to have a problem returning to the correct park position. They drop lower than they are supposed to, then come up about 1-2 inches. Is there a module that can be replaced to correct this? Hold down nuts are tight and arm splines are good and wipers are installed in correct position (on designaed windshield marks) I remember older Chev trucks and SUV's had a pulse board problem that required resoldering (intermittent operation)...wondering if this or a similar problem carried over into the '99-'02 series C/K's...THANKS for any info anyone out there might have...

I don't have an answer but I have the exact same problem with my 2001. You're not alone.

Re: 2001 Silverado Wiper Problem

You could readjust them by loosening the nut that holds the arm, reposition the arm then re-tighten the nut.
