Car leaking water after rainhawaiiangirl1427 03-13-2006, 05:54 PM I have a 2000 camry and after it rains my car leaks on the inside under the glove box, I have actually seen water pour onto the floor board when i turn a corner and this only happens after the rain. Some people have told me it was my heater core but it doesn't smell like antifreeze and my car hasn't overheated. This ONLY happens after it has had a heavy rain. Does anyone have any ideas of what this might be?? Soilent Green 03-13-2006, 06:59 PM I'd check the rubber lining that goes from side to side of your windshield when you open the hood. Or look for a crack in that area, I'm not sure it could really be that but I'd start from this. Water might not go directly through the wall but could be dripping along this rubber seal and find it's way inside somehow, so if you don't find any cracks right away you can still easily pull out the rubber seal and further verify if you don't have moisture or traces of water there. Take out the glove box and see from where it's dripping. Could also be dripping from the front of the passenger door, but removing the glove box will let you know if it's really coming from there.
