Vibration in shifter

Any ideas on what a vibration would be from coming through the shifter? It's pretty loud and can be heard from outside. I can't tell where it's coming from, if it's directly under where the shifter is, or up front more.It does it when I start it up and it is warming up the loudest. It will also do it when not in gear. Also, it's a manual.Thx.

Re: Vibration in shifter

The shifter is right above the exhaust. I'd check that first, especially if you have a short throw shifter
