Oppps

So I put a hole in my f-150's oil pan being an idiot and now I need to fix it it's just dripping now and looks to be patchable does anyone know and good procedures or methods to fix this other than a new oil pan?

Heres a few pretty good emergency repairs. If the hole isnt too big, you can run a neoprene washered sheet metal screw in the hole. They make epoxy repair putty for radiators, fuel tanks, ..ect that works good. Ive patched cracked blocks with it that are still holding and not leaking. If you have a good soldering iron or small torch, you can solder it, or braze it. I would weld it if possible though, these would all be temp, except for the brazing. Just make sure whoever welds it knows what theyre doing, and dont go blowing holes to have to dob up. If welding spatter and bb`s get in the pan, they can possibly get into the pump. A muffler repair shop can do this for you, if its in a spot they can get to. Good luck.
