That was a good race though. That supra was runing like 24psi. Fuzzy_C 03-09-2006, 11:10 PM oooooooooowned, I LOVE IT, i'm gonna go watch it again alphalanos 03-09-2006, 11:13 PM Eh....Lets see what the result is with a big single turbo. :grinno: kidding kidding! good race! Mr. Luos 03-09-2006, 11:18 PM My friend owns that Trans Am. Single turbo. alphalanos 03-09-2006, 11:19 PM Aha!!! doodad 03-09-2006, 11:24 PM single??? just one turbo u mean??? l thought l saw tt turbo on the mods list.. damn, then l cant imagine twin turboo TA. how many HP does he push Curtis? alphalanos 03-09-2006, 11:28 PM single??? just one turbo u mean??? l thought l saw tt turbo on the mods list.. damn, then l cant imagine twin turboo TA. how many HP does he push Curtis? The idea of a single turbo is maximum power. Twins are usually set up in a sequential configuration; one smaller and one larger to deliver a smoother powerband. Single is usually quite a bit of lag, then monstrous boost. Mr. Luos 03-09-2006, 11:30 PM Not much lag when running a cammed 364ci LS1. Single turbo...85% tuned he was making 730 RWHP. My old Lunati cam was in that Trans Am years ago. Single turbo > twins (At least in my opinion, don't really know how to explain it though) TTi kit. TTi is the name of the place that makes the kit. Looks like twin turbo though. doodad 03-09-2006, 11:42 PM HMM.. now l see:lol: 730rwhp.. l wish l could at least test drive a car that much powerful DarkblueTA 03-11-2006, 09:56 AM thats a givin, hum v8 twin turbo vs v6 twin turbo. That was a good race though. That supra was runing like 24psi. Supra's are inline 6'..not V6. Twin or single, Turbo'd LS1s are fun :smokin: DarkblueTA 03-11-2006, 09:59 AM The idea of a single turbo is maximum power. Maybe in your little civics have lag :grinyes: but there is very little if any lag on a v8 car. G-man422 03-11-2006, 10:02 AM Sweet vid! BlackFirebird 03-12-2006, 11:17 AM That was freakin sweet cooltc2004 03-12-2006, 06:00 PM America > Japan G-man422 03-12-2006, 06:10 PM Pure American muscle. 97cavalier 03-12-2006, 08:08 PM Supra's are inline 6'..not V6. Twin or single, Turbo'd LS1s are fun :smokin: ya inline 6,v6,what ever, they both have 6 cylenders, lol. I know one thing about thoes 3.0 dohc turbo 6's in the supras, thoes blow head gaskets left and right unless they are metal. giddyup50 03-14-2006, 09:21 PM AWESOME!!! I loved it and the sound of the T/A!! I raced what I thought was a turbo Nissan 300ZX or twin, I don't know. Anyway, it was with my 92 5.0 5spd. pushing about 280hp. So I thought "man, this will probably smoke my ass". We take off, dead even (stock 2.73 gears for me). Then I hit 2nd and I say........C-YA....Z!!! Then we pulled over and he said "good race man". I said What? Did you miss 2nd? I thought I was going to have major bragging rights. He says, "Oh no, this isn't a turbo car". I thought "DAMN"!! Guess I can't talk shit now. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
