I'm hoping someone can shed some light on this! I have a 93 F150 with a 300 straight six and the clutch master cylinder retainer bushing at the clutch pedal linkage keeps breaking on me. This has been an ongoing problem over the last few months and 2 weeks ago the shaft which actuates the clutch master piston broke too. I replaced the clutch master cylinder, shaft and bushing and it was fine until yesterday when the bushing again broke on me. I put a new bushing in and it seems fine?? The linkage it attaches to looks perfectly square/straight throughout it's travel and the end piece the bushing slides over is not out of round ......... at least I can't feel that it is?? Has anyone come across anything like this before?? The truck has 110,000 miles on it and I've had it for @ 1 year. I fear that I might break another actuator shaft and end up buying yet another master cylinder!

I appreciate any help!! :banghead:
