1995 2.2 engine idle up and downjmstopha 03-08-2006, 12:00 AM Need some help!! The 2.2 4 cyl. motor in my 1995 Camry idles very irradically. When I start it, it will idle up to 4000 RPM's, then back down to 1000 RPM's. It will continue to cycle in this manner, and the pushing on the gas pedal has not effect on this cycling. Any thoughts of what could be causing this?? Computer? Sensor? :banghead: somick 03-08-2006, 01:26 PM How about regular maintenance? Spark plugs, ignition wires, distributor cap?
