Talking Performance Upgrades for 84

Hi...newbie here!

I just bought my first vette 3 weeks ago. Check it out:

1984 Corvette

It was a great deal for me, so I bought it. I'm just disappointed in the performance at 205HP. It does have an aftermarket exhaust which I'm sure helps....but it just doesn't cook with fire like other muscle cars I've owned.

What performance mods do any of you recommend? I'm not going to pull the motor and bore 0.060 over or mess with the heads....nothing major. I'm talking about K&N air filers, computer chips mods, basic stuff. Is there anyway to help the cross-fire injection perform better? Do you have any links to vette performance websites?

Thanks - Thad

.

I recommend dropping a better motor in it at the least. I wouldn't even of bought that I mean any car in the late 70's early 80's wasn't very powerful at all.
