Unhappy Clutch Pedal Problems

My 93 pickup won't start. Just replaced the clutch and heater core, but now there is a "pushrod" behind the clutch pedal that is bent. If i remove it and straighten it it will work for about 5 starts but then the rod bends again. Any suggestions on how to fix this or what exactly is that little rod called. It attaches to the clutch pedal and then goes into the floor.

ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED

Krystal

Re: Clutch Pedal Problems

Sorry, I don't have any books here so I can't look the name up for you, but if there's a good auto wrecker near you why not stop in and walk through with one of the workers and point the part out.

They'll probably pull it for you and install it in your truck for peanuts, and a cute smile
