What are the chances?

Ok so you import a skyline for about 30 grand, sure it may not be legal but what are the chances of cops pulling you over?, i see it as just bring it over and register as black listed car, just dont get pulled over.... is there something im missing?, sure it might not be legal, but you can have it in a crate saying, i dont know 20 pianos or something

First of all, if you are thinking of sneaking it over... yea right, get ready to get fined and lose your car. There are thousands of port authority guys, customs guys, bond guys who get payed to do nothing but find out this sort of thing. Now say you DO sneak it over, you have no papers so you can't register it as anything, accept a kit car. And when it gets inspected for that they are going to see whats going on, once agian... Fines, car lost. Let's say you import it under a racing banner, you for sure can't register it. But if you still drive it around, when cops see an exotic looking car, they are going to pull it over for the slightest trespass, then they will find you have no/wrong tags, once agian you lose your car, lots of money, and perhaps your freedom for a few years.
