Now granted it dont have any aftermarket mods, but surely for $5k you would have more than your friends 98 Civic which has about $2k worth of mods and it would be a brand new car.... So a 98 Civic EX for $16k with $2k worth of mods or a 2002 Civic EX for $11k with $5k worth of mods I choose the later of the two.... Probably should inform your friend that when you put after market products on a car you will not get back what you put into it... A car with mods is not an investment.. Many of the mods that we do to these cars, actually decrease the value of them.... dreemkill 07-02-2002, 12:23 AM exactly my point...... And I'd guess about 3k for the mods he has. But it's still a used car that I wouldn't pay more than 12-13k for. Civic98 07-03-2002, 12:57 AM i suggested her to take out the mods and sell em separately and i also told her no one is going to buy it for $16K but she said yea people do and she said it has low mileage........i think it should be like $13k she has lot of mods..... dreemkill 07-03-2002, 01:33 AM anothing thing.......duel exhaust on a d16y8? i dunno, seems having little/no back pressue on a 1.6 liter 4-banger would hinder performance. liquid8 07-03-2002, 02:29 AM if it were an si maybe but not for the ex with some work done to it. auke1 07-03-2002, 03:06 AM Originally posted by dreemkill anothing thing.......duel exhaust on a d16y8? i dunno, seems having little/no back pressue on a 1.6 liter 4-banger would hinder performance. I was just going to mention that part. I wouldn't pay 16,000 for that. For most people, the point of modifying a car is to make it personal and unique, and not to own what is personal and unique to someone else. Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
