:uhoh: hi i was wondering does a 96 nissan altima have a interferance timing. the timing belt broke and i was wondering does it need a valve job if the belt brakes, and is it a chain or a belt. thanks

Its a chain and I don't think they break that easily. Check your distributor out I see Altimas have that problem prety frequently.
