You didn't indicate what year your truck is. So I'm going to asume that it a early year. Here you go. I hope this helps you.
1. Locate the fuse block under the hood on the drivers side of the engine compartment.
2. Remove the cover by unscrewing this knob. Note: This knob does not come out of the cover.
3. Once the knob is loose, the cover will pull off.
4. Underneath the cover is a diagram of the fuse block. Locate the position of the relay labeled 'DRL'.
5. Locate the relay on the fuse block and remove it.
6. Ok, here is the important part. On the bottom of the relay, you will see 5 prongs with the numbers 30, 85, 86, 87, and 87a.Take your pliers and bend the prong labeled 86. This will prevent that prong from engaging the fuse block, deactivating the daytime running lights.
7. Replace the relay. Line up the prongs with the holes in the fuse block. It will only go back in one way.
8. Replace the cover and tighten the knob. You're Done!
