PS2 and internet access.
Is it possible to connect to the internet with a PS2, similar to the way you can with the dreamcast?

I know that, but I was wondering if you canuse it as a web browser yet. I hate computers, and I really dont want to buy another one, just to have the internet at home. So I would rather just have a browser, for the little things at home.
Any ideas on when the adapter comes out? I tried running a quick search on google, but found no real information.

Well, I know they partnered with AOL to allow web browsing, and the use of AIM. But I cannot find a date of when this is going to be released...

The PS2 can go online right now with a USB 56k Modem, but all you can do is play Tony Hawk 3 with other people, but August 27th the official adaptor will be released, and a swarm of games soon after. rumors have surfaced that Grand Turismo 4 will be online and availible for PC.
theres no plans for a Web Browser right now, but with the PS2 Linux kit on the open market, who knows.
AOL is partnered with Sony, but theres no mention if its for the PS2 or the PS3 that will be released in 2005.
about games you can probably ask me anything, i'm a regular a t quite a few Gaming Forums under the name incubusnb
