reset brake light

1995 toyota tacoma how do you reset braek light in dash. i have changed breaks and toped off fluid need to get light off please help.

Try bleeding the brakes first. If that doesn't work recheck the rear brake initial adjustment and parking brake adjustment outlined in the following link.

I know I'm really late to add to this, but alternatively if you've had brake work done recently and know that the light shouldn't be on, then you can reset it by disconnecting the positive battery cable, depressing the brake for a few seconds to reset the ABS sensor, and then reconnecting the cable. That ought to fix it, I had the same issue after replacing a faulty caliper.
