trying to change the valve cover gasket. i had to take the intake off and i unbolted 4 bolts, but still the sucker would not come off. am i missing anything here. is there any hidden bolt that usually missed. if not then whats the best way to take it off if its being backed on.

If it does not come off easily then some one cemented it in place, no need to do that.
There should be at least six bolts.
Here is an exploded view of a 93:

What won't come off? The intake or the valve cover? What engine?

Assuming you are talking about the valve cover on a 2VZ-FE or 3VZ-FE 4 cyl., there are 10 bolts to be removed.

The valve covers on a 3.4L V6 have 8 bolts each.

I was talking about the V6 3.4L. my question was how to remove the U shaped intake so i can acess the valve covers. it seem like there is only 4 bolts to remove. two buts on the sides and two bolts in the middle on one side of the intake. but the thing is still stuck in place. so assumming that i did not miss any bolts to remove, the thing must be cemented in place and am not sure how to take it off with out breaking it. any hint will be helpfull. thanks

Actually Brian is correct, there are more bolts he said there were ten. and I had forgot.
So DO NOT try to force it even if it was cemented it will stil break lose with a little presure on the end by the cold start injector.
There is also a stablizer bracket by the EGR that needs to be removed.
