Want help purchasing Vette

I am interested in purchasing a '66 or '67 Vette, but I'm confused about the variations in numbers, conditions, and pricing. I would be willing to pay for assistance to ensur that I don't get burned.

I have a book that lists all the models and what options they had. How many of each were made with what option and the cost at the time. New 66 Vett,$4300. for a coupe, 9958 were made.$4084. for the roadster,17,762 were made. Amount with leather seats 2002. Auxiliary hardtop 8463, 4 speeds 10,837, 4 speeds with close ratio 13,903, 4 speeds close ratio,Heavy Duty 15. Amount with the powerslide automatic,2401. Knock off wheels 1194. Five colors black 1190 red 3366 blue 2054 green 2311 silver 2967. If you need to know about a Vett just ask.
