is it worth it?

i can get a first gen jdm b16a with 55k on it, dc sport 4-2-1 header, skunk2 intake manifold, skunk2 cam gears and brand new timing belt for 1500 bucks...i would be putting this into a 95 civic coupe, is it worth me getting the cable tranny conversion and all that shit to make it work or save up and get a b16a2? thanks

You dont have to use the cable clutch equiped g/box. You could instead sell it in the US, or swap it for a hydrolic equiped box from any of the other B series engines.

I would recomend one from either a GSR teg, or a Del Sol VTEC, or 99si Civic, or from an JDM SiR Civic.

The cable box's are quite rare and hard to find, and prone to running the 3rd gear. Im sure you could find a buyer at a good price (as much as or more than a newer and more common hyrdolic one) with out much trouble.
