Nissan Skyline R34 GTRstuffbyalex 02-20-2006, 11:14 PM Hey everybody, this is my latest. It's done in graphite, 9x12" Canson Bristool Smooth. I actually made quite a few changes to the original, although I still used the grid method for basic proportions. I changed the rims and front bumper to turn into a nismo version, and I also replaced the headlights and alot of the reflections on the whole car. Hope you like it... any feedback is appreciated http://img96.imageshack.us/img96/7195/skyline20final5lr.jpg Alex Mshkttck 02-21-2006, 12:35 AM WOW, that's amazing. I am speechless... That is awesome! Amazing work! Looks like a photoshop filter first... so smooth... so detailed.. The only little thing I'd mention is that the bonnett vent doesn't seem to be in correct perspective regarding the grille perspective. IT's a bit twisted. The wheels are excellent. I guess this will bring you some nice cash!? nicecar 02-21-2006, 04:23 AM wooooo wooo!!! That is awesome! Amazing work! Looks like a photoshop filter first... so smooth... so detailed.. NewCarDrawing 02-22-2006, 05:21 AM yep....very nice DP_Design 02-22-2006, 10:40 AM im amazed man! this is so realistic, i wish i could do that :frown: with your amazing rendering capabilities, im sure if you designed alot more cars you will make it as a designer. DP_Design 02-22-2006, 10:42 AM if i had to be picky, i would say that something with the bonnet (hood) looks off. DP_Design 02-22-2006, 10:47 AM im not really sure if its the hood, but something in the front end doesnt look right, i hope this doesnt offend you in anyway, im just trying to help :D remember this is me being picky :D nicecar 02-22-2006, 10:52 AM dont triple post!!!!!! the hood scoop is a bit slanted if thats what you mean 69charger426 02-22-2006, 04:53 PM Alex, thats really amazing, love the wheels and tires. i have a question bout your colored work tho, what do u blend the colors with to make them so smoooth and,to add the lil detail in the smaler places with?like the headlights stuffbyalex 02-22-2006, 05:55 PM Thanks for the feedback! thanks to the people who noticed the hood. It looks waaay off and almost throws off the perspective of the whole front end. 69charger: For colored work, there is a technique called burnishing that works great with Prismacolors, and it's where you go over an area with a white colored pencil to get rid of all the graininess in the paper and it gives you really smooth results. It's also a matter of putting down plenty of layers with light pressure, and being patient. Detail is just a matter of keeping your pencils sharp. Alex 69charger426 02-22-2006, 07:18 PM ook, thanks soo much man ill try that, i just got a box of prismacolor pencils hoping to get the results u did MBTN 02-22-2006, 08:40 PM WTF I don't see it!? I want to see it!!! LA-CUSTOMS 02-23-2006, 06:25 PM OH MY GOD !!!!!! that is simply mezmerizing........ you have seriously got some skills going there, how long did it take you ? grantrl78 02-23-2006, 06:43 PM $%@#$ that is freakin good. excellent rendering. D[X]P 02-23-2006, 08:03 PM im speechless MBTN 02-23-2006, 08:24 PM Now it's showing up. It's horrible just like all the others. ajrichar 04-11-2006, 04:58 AM Alex, I am so incredibly impressed by this picture. I should say I am blown away by it, but to be honest, everything you do is that good. I come here and have a look, but rarely post. With this pic, I had to post. While I prefer the standard GT-R, the Nismo bodykit you have put on this works beautifully. I didn't even initially notice the skewed bonnet vents. It's only when I focus on them that they are really noticeable - in the context of the rest of the car, you can barely see it. The only way you could top this (in my mind) would be a stock standard R32 GT-R. Alex, your work is simply astonishing. Thankyou for sharing it with us. xpeed 04-11-2006, 12:35 PM It got my respect. Nice shading. SideWindZ 04-14-2006, 05:25 AM :O that is simply amazing man! Roboduck 04-14-2006, 02:42 PM Alex... As always - awesome work. I always look forward to your posts to brighten my day and possibly gleen something to help my works... Robo Setmin 04-14-2006, 06:29 PM The vent on the hood is off but the rest is really good. THE noodle 04-16-2006, 02:56 AM it's amazingly realistic....almost perfect... KustmAce 04-16-2006, 05:50 AM I still cant understand how nearly everything on the car can be so well done, yet the numbers on the license plate look really sloppy and rushed. Why half ass that part when you put so much effort into the rest? g00eY 04-17-2006, 11:26 AM i like the part where the GT-R badge is. you've actually got some mesh going there. nice! KustmAce 04-18-2006, 03:55 AM I still cant understand how nearly everything on the car can be so well done, yet the numbers on the license plate look really sloppy and rushed. Why half ass that part when you put so much effort into the rest? No? MaoUndo 04-18-2006, 05:59 AM Hey everybody, this is my latest. It's done in graphite, 9x12" Canson Bristool Smooth. Hope you like it... any feedback is appreciated Alex  I'm impressed... only with graphite? stuffbyalex 04-21-2006, 07:10 PM I still cant understand how nearly everything on the car can be so well done, yet the numbers on the license plate look really sloppy and rushed. Why half ass that part when you put so much effort into the rest? Sorry for not replying earlier. I'm not ignoring you or anything. The plate looks crappier because I didn't have any kind of reference for it and my normal writing is pretty sloppy. Consequently, what's on the drawing doesn't look a whole lot better than my regular writing. MaoUndo: Thanks! and yes, this is all graphite. Alex mustang-fan200 04-22-2006, 02:02 PM Yes the hood is a bit crooked but still your drawings are amazing:eek: , some of them look like actuall pictures:) . Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
