1994 Chevy Cheyenne 4.3L to LT1 swap

I have a 1994 chevy cheyenne that has a 4.3 with a 4L80E trans. I want to install a 4.3L LT1 V8 from a 96 Caprice. Will the Caprice computer control my 4L80E tranny? What other concerns will I possibly face?

There is not a 4.3L LT1, if you are talking about a true LT1, you are talking about the 5.7L v8. And yes I believe the computer should be able to control your trans.
