2003 Expedition problem....

I've got a perplexing problem with my '03 Expo...I keep getting a "door ajar" alert and the interior lights flicker; also my alarm will go off for no reason. Hubby replaced the battery this afternoon and he had the alternator checked, which checked out fine. What else can be going on?

I've only had my Expo for about a month and this has been going on since I got it HELP!!!

Thanks....

Re: 2003 Expedition problem....

You probably have a door switch that is sticking. The switch is inside the door on the latch assembly. You can spray a good penetrating oil inside the latch where it hooks to the body of car. Be sure to soak the latch. Then open and close the door a few times to see which one fixes the problem. You can do this as many times as needed.
