Service Engine Soon

I have a 03 Blazer 20000 k the service engine soon light has came on. I have checked all the fluids, all are full and it runs smooth. Its 1000 mile before next oil change. What would be the most likely thing that would make the light come on? I'm taking it to the shop for repair as its still under warranty . Would just like to know some of the things that causes this . Thanks

Is your gas cap on correctly?

You might want to invest in an ODBII reader. The gauge will give you the codes that cause the light to go on, and there's usually a list of explainations included with the reader, or just post the codes here.

Re: Service Engine Soon

the code could be a thousand things. Stop by Advance autoparts or autozone and they will scan the truck for free. Get the code and come back and tell us what it is so we can help you better.
