Mine is 160, felt way too shaky and decided to back off. If I was alone in the car I woulda kept going but I realised 160 is a lil fast with a passenger... :nono:

I have had the mustang to 150 on a very late night on a very strait road with no other cars in sight. I have maxed the speedo on every car I have owned haha.

About 120 in the CRX I owned.

120 in a rsx with 4 people in the car. I wasn't driving it I don't have my license yet. If so I would have gone faster

Trans Am has been to 130 with me driving. Not much sense going any faster.
Stock limiter is at 160. Top speed is over that by probably 20 MPH.

ive been up to 135 in my sentra according to the gauges...but i think that they might be wrong, took a long time to finally get fast 120 since i have no power in 4k rpms(well, not enough)..i think i could go faster easily with aerodynamics and get rid of the passenger

Getting rid of your passanger would not help your top speed. The basic things which determine your top speed are horsepower and aerodynamics, but they could be limited by electronics or gearing.

In the 79 Z28 i've been past 130, although i'm not sure exactly how far, i know it was a good minute after i passed 130 before i let off the throttle.

was going 135 racing the caddy sts, if i didnt feel the need to slow down i wouldve kept it going, im supposed to top out at 148 and i had plenty of room to get there.

100mph in my first vehicle - minivan
113 - governor of my saturn
135 - gov of my friends mark viii

I've gone 146.

I suspect I will be going 175-185 mph relatively soon.

Truck cuts gas at 90mph and it has PLENTY of room to spare.

Pegged the spedo just a hair north of 150 in Cassie, held it for just over a minute our so. In the Rav, I would bounce the limiter at 110 all the time, and in my moms car, I hit 145 before comming up on traffic. Never pegged out any of my dad's cars before...

I've got a limiter at 120mph...so yeah, 120.

if i trusted my tires i'd find a way to remove the govenor. But im not gonna turst them over 100-110mph. id say i have at least another 10-15mph in 4th gear. a shift to 5th would probablt be too tall with all that drag.

There's a guy over on the 3/s forums that's done like 182MPH or something in his VR4... I don't think I've ever gone above 130

150mph in the former Lancer Evolution on multiple occassions. Never above 140 in the WS6, cause it's a boat.

132mph on my 92' se-r speedo about a week ago. I put in new plug wires, and now I can get 130mph without going dowhill lol. I shouldn't be doing it with my shot suspension, but sometimes you just get to 100mph, and figure "ahh F*** it".

110. Its prety scary and really loud, it was still puling slowly but the spedo tops out at 115. Took about 5 min to get up that fast.

Ive been 173 mph gps indicated. I was on a bike though. THe fastest ive been in a car was 157 gps indicated. Uncles 02 ws6 had alot more left in it, but I was coming to a slight bend on 97. At 140 plus a slight bend starts to become a sharp corner.

I think the VR4/Stealth have really tall gearing. I never did take the Stealth RT/TT to any speeds above 120mph. Have to admit that it cornered well for its weight though.

185 is where my gears max out for my rpm redline....pretty sure I dont have the power...or the grip to make it there alive

All in the suspension, ride height and "openess" of the vehicle... 60 on a Cart is hellishly scary, i cant imagine 120mph on a shifter cart.

on the otherhand 75 in a Jaguar feels like 30mph in my truck. Friend of mine's grandma has a Jag, i forget the modle (one of the gannier modles, still with 350hp) and he has taken it to150 on several occasions while "washing" it.riding in one down the interstate feels liek you arent even moving.

woah, that sux for you. ive took alost all my parents cars to their limits. the 2005 sienna goes to 120 damn limiter...1995 mercury villager went to 110, got scary then, my car 135 o somethin. there is somethin about ***bikes*** that just scare me, so i stay away....too many people in my neighborhood crashed them doing stupid ness like wheeling up hills and such...

I've been up to ALMOST 150 in my GT-S .. it was like 148mph. No limiter on this car. I have a pic of me doing almost 140. In this pic I'm in 5th gear.. in 6th gear at 8500rpms is like 185mph... but I'll never have enough power to do that.
