Grinding Noise. Wheel aligment

Hi i recently had my car aligned in doing so it drives much better however... when i am at a complate stop and have to turn the wheel more then 20.degress either way i hear a grinding noise somewhere in my steering collum.. when i am over 20 MPH and turn i do not hear the noise, it is just when i am at a complete stop and making a right or left hand turn.. its a loud noise its not suttle at all. and it is gettign worse! please if you have any sugestions please let me know!:) THANK YOU!!

That sounds like your power steering pump making noise. Check your fluid levels, and look for leaking under your car. See if the substance that is leaking, (if it is), smells like oil, antifreeze, power steering, or is it odorless water from the A/C? Repost your findings if you need further help

You can also check the tension on the belt. When my 94 GA was cold and when I would try to turn the wheels, my power steering pump would chirp like crazy. I tightened the belt and it fixed it.
