01 Passat crashed, bought the 06 no questions

I was out of the country a couple weeks ago, my wife, 5 months pregnant, was driving home from work outside of Boston. Rt 24 is a bad road, accidents daily. She stopped in traffic and a Rav4 rear ended her at about 40 mph. The truck hit the pasenger corner and threw my wifes car into the guardrail and as the rav rolled on its side my wife gunned it accross 3 lanes of traffic to keep from getting hit. She walked away with bruises and minimal baby issues, mostly the ER taking percautions.
The car was hit so hard in the rear, the front door bent behind the front fender. The roof was buckled in two places. The air bags didn't pop, not needed I guess. We thinks its the best highway crash car!
She called me and once I found she was ok we imediatly decided another passat was in order. VW has outdone themselves with the 06. You gotta test drive one.
