electrical

Are there any recalls on the electrical system? Yesterday, I didn't have any sound on my radio or cd player. You could see the stations playing or the tracks but no sound. When I got in my truck about an hour later, the radio played fine. When I turned on my overhead light, for a split second, the indicator light for the outside rear of cab light came on. Before that, I also noticed that a red flash on the dash cluster came on a couple of times(for that split second). This happens when I push the switch and it seems to happen only the first time you turn the light on. After that, you need to turn the ignition off, than turn it back on for it to happen again. Anyone had this problem?

Re: electrical

Just got back from the shop. They changed a diode in the dash and reprogramed the radio. Looks like the problem is fixed.
