Has anyone had any luck getting their intake manifold gaskets repaired under the "goodwill warranty" at a GM dealer in the Toronto area? If so what were the details (vehicle year/mileage etc) and at what dealer?

Thanks,
Mark

Goodwill warranty extensions are based on many factors.
One thing to take in consideration and I'm guessing you are not..is dealer and GM loyalty

Thanks for your response.

I realize a "loyal" customer will have a better chance of getting this repair covered. I have used several different GM dealerships in the Toronto area (both service and parts) as whenever my vehicles break down, I have it towed to the "nearest" dealer as I only get so many "free" km's towing with CAA. (Cars always seem to break down at the wrong place and time) I would like to know which dealers have covered this under warranty and what circumstances so I can talk to them intelligently.

Thanks,
Mark

Mark;
I recently had the lower intake manifold gasket done on a 2001 Venture (95K), GM picked up everything except the fluids (Kitchener-Waterlo area). You may have to try more than one dealer, since it has more to do with a specific dealer's leeway with GM than it does with you. They are able to do a certain amount of this "goodwill" type business, you could hit one who has used theirs up that month. The first place I went said no way, not a chance. The second one I tried agreed to do it right away.
