Anyone race a Titan(VHO)
My friend at work has a Nissan Titan and he thinks its the best thing that has happened in the truck market. So he is sitting here telling me that the guys he talks to say they can whoop a VHO by 2 truck lengths no problem. I really have a hard time believing that. But if anyone has had different experiences let me know, also just not the VHO guys.

Re: Anyone race a Titan(VHO)
I love my silverado, but Nissan has by far and away the best powertrain out there. My buddy has raced a titan with his SS and his was only slightly faster. Take a look at this page

Re: Anyone race a Titan(VHO)
They are slow....A VHO will absolutely destroy one stock for stock, and a slightly modified 4.8L will give them a run for their money.

Re: Anyone race a Titan(VHO)
VHO => Vortec High Output. A name given to the 1/2 ton extended cabs that came in the performance packaged 6.0 liter truck. Not an HD. Same as an SS with 2wd and packaged as a sleeper. Same engine, same performance, 500 #'s lighter and the sticker was $12K less. Click on my link at the bottom of my signature and you will see. There were only 957 VHO's made in '04 per an insider at the GM plant. That is a rare truck to find. It was said there were around 15,000 SS's made in '04. Now all '06 SS's are 2wd... interesting.
My custom cut cam is waiting to be put in..... 13's soon

Re: Anyone race a Titan(VHO)
I raced and beat a new Nissian titan from a dead stop (on asphault) and from about a 35-40mph roll. U will have NO problem man. I have a K&N FLIPKit and a Superchips programmer on 91 octane setting. Do it U owe it to ur VHO man!!! lol...

Re: Anyone race a Titan(VHO)
I've never raced a Titan, but I drove one last year. It felt pretty strong to me, but I think I could take it.
