Yes, be DARN sure to change your timing belt every 100,000km! (62,000 mi) The Aveo has an "interfering engine", which means that if the timing belt breaks, the valves will hit the piston and bend your valves. Which means you will have to replace your engine. We had one come in the shop a couple weeks back that had 120,000km (75,000mi) on it, the timing chain had broke, and costed the guy a new engine.
