2006 crewcab headlights....
Just wondering if anybody has had any experience with the sylvania silverstar bulbs. Thinking about upgrading high and low beam bulbs to them. Any info or input before I spend $100 would be appreciated. This is my first post on this web site so Hello and thanks in advance for any replies.

Re: 2006 crewcab headlights....
I would recommend the silverstars, much brighter lights......I have them in my truck for the past 2 years and still running strong......By the way, they cost about $50CDN for all 4 bulbs.......so I don't know where you $100 Americanos........

Re: 2006 crewcab headlights....
I say go for it, like silveradoking said they are alot brighter than the regular bulbs and make a big difference especially if you have done or will do the 4 headlight mod. I guess it all depends on where you live in Canada as well because they are $25 a bulb (9005 + 9006) plus tax here and that is from two different stores.

Re: 2006 crewcab headlights....
As i mentioned, the price here at 2 different stores was $25 per bulb and one of those places is Canadian tire, the other being wal-mart. I have never seen them go on sale here unfortunately.

Re: 2006 crewcab headlights....
Wagner puts out a light called TruView and they are the same type of bulb and I think they work as good. I have them in both of my trucks and love them, much better light than regular bulbs. I paid about 15.50 each.

Re: 2006 crewcab headlights....
Thanks for all the response on this topic. I have tried the tru view bulbs in my yukon and I wasnt really that impressed with them. I found the silverstars on ebay last night for $26 a pair, so I think I am going to order them tonight.
