Which is a better deal

Hey everyone this is my first post, im currently looking for my first truck and i have found two. I just want to know which is the better deal.
1999 chevy 2500 ext cab v8, automatic trans, 4wd, 80k for $9500.
or

2001 chevy 1500 single cab v8, man trans, z71, 45k for $13000

I'd go w/ the 2001. less milage.

I would definitely go the xcab route. I have had both reg and xcab trucks and I don't know how I ever fit all my crap in a reg cab. Also, manual transmissions get Old, Fast. Auto in a full size truck is the way to go. The Only thing that I can think of to get the reg cab is like the other guy said, MPG. If that is not a concern, then get the 99. Good Luck

I agree with the ext cab part. I'm currently looking for one myself.

well thanks to my good ole parents i have to keep looking, they dont want me to have a black truck and these are both black. Thanks anyways guys.
