Vacuum Hoses

Has anyone swithced to silicone vacuum hoses? Found some kits at stylinmotors.com/volvo.html, any done this? If so, is it difficult to do for a novice car guy that like tinkering?

Really shouldn't be too hard, turbos have a few more vacum hoses I believe. You having vacum leaks with yours?

Yes I did. Not anymore though. Bought the kit from stylinmotors and changed the hoses myself. Worked out great. Saw an increase of about 3cm of hg. Car feels and sounds better when I get on the accelerator.

awesome, glad it worked out for ya. Vacum leaks is one of the leading causes of boost leak on Volvo turbos.

Many people have done this mod. everyone says the same thing you did after installation.

those old rubber hoses really do leak a lot. hope i will be just as pleased with my install.

I know lots of people from another board with the stylin motors kit and are really pleased, I need to do it to mine even though I have no turbo, might help out some.
