Exclamation Picuter This !

ok you are in london ... it is raining, but all of a sudden the sky clears the sun comes out, and all of as sudden what should appear coming down the street towards you ... an Hyundai Sante Fe.

But this is no ordinary sante fe, but a custom one ! :ylsuper

It is Jet Black, with mirrored windows, chrome Rims, and a sound system that looks like something from a sci-fi movie (imagine that if you turned the volume up to 4 the vibrations would make the world shater. Damn ! )

The system was a pioneer, with 7 amps, 5 subwoorfers, & 21 other speakers positioned around the interior of the car. :flamer: :smoker2: :eshooter: :ylsuper

That was a fine ass car ! :smoka:

Aquiring parts overseas

Is anyone familiar if there is an online site that lists the parts number to Hyundai products. i am inquirying on the Hyundai Santa Fe and am interested in obtaining the rear fog lights harneses and housing. The lights are not fuctional here in the USA, and although we have come up with a slight modification to make them functional I was wondering if getting the actual parts would be more better.

For the ignorant ones

It amazes me how ignorant some folks are, as much as one tries to believe that there are folks out there that are getting smarter by the day there are those that just prove me wrong.

You dcane are one of them, you make your first post in a section that caters to Hyundai Santa Fe posters/owners/inquirers etc and you manage to show your maturity and ignorance all in one paragraph. Hmmm not quite surprising at all since you cannot even convey your thoughts and feeling without resulting to that low level language.

But try as I will to convince the ignorant, (even though I doubt you will come back) but here it goes.
Hyundai is one of the fastest rising vehicle manufacturer that actually stand behind their products satification and service than the big guys. I do not remember the last time an auto group offered their customers something for nothing. By nothing I mean the horsepower issue is moot. There was never any horsepower to miss. It was just stated incorrectly. For those that complain and do have a Hyundai, its just a matter of human nature complaining. If you bought the car/truck and felt it was good enough then to buy it especially after a test drive and now they find out the horsepower was stated incorrectly, theres no reason to feel that they lost anything because nothing was lost. And because nothing was lost since it was never there in the first place, then what Hyundai is doing by extending the warranty is a freebie in my eyes. Take it and run. The Santa Fe runs cirsle around the competition and with money to spare. For safety, space, room, comfort, ride and price it tops them all. So dcanes, do your self a favor and whatever you you decide to post on an issue that you know nothing about make sure that you read and learn as much as you can before making youself look like an troll or worse an idiot.

Hyundai makes a wicked product now, i have 3 friends who own Santa Fe's and do nothing but praise them. J.D. Power and Associates rank it as one of the best vehicles you can buy. Sure they are a cheaper vehicle but their quality has come a long way, and there will always be a need for all kinds of vehicles...we can't all drive Beemers. PLus why waste your time on a board if you don't like the product, and you cannot back up your claims. You may not like the Santa Fe or Hyundai but that don't mean they are junk.

Re: Picuter This !

Where did you see this J.D. Powers ranking for the Santa Fe? As a manufacturer, Hyundai is below average in both initial quality and long term reliability. However, Consumer Reports seems to rate the Santa Fe highly, so I'm a bit confused.

Where did you see that Hyundai is below average in initial quality. USA Today did an article last spring on Hyundai and how their initial quality was tied for 2nd among all manufacturers with Honda, 2nd only to Toyota. I am the parts manager at a Hyundai dealership in Indianapolis, and I am impressed with how good the quality is of the vehicles considering the low price. Other than 7 GM vehicles, I have owned 1 Mitsubishi, 1 Honda, and bought my wife a Hyundai Sonata. I put more money into repairs on the Honda than all 7 GM vehicles combined. and the Mitsu is constantly at the dealership getting worked on. In the almost 30k miles on the Sonata, had an interior door handle chrome flake, and that is it. If our dealership hadn't moved locations and I threw a bunch of stuff away, I'd still have the article about Hyundai's initial quality.

I will find it. We save most all our press info. All i can say is that you obviously haven't driven a Hyundai as of late. And dude you drive a honda accord so why are you so concerned with what's happening on the Santa Fe board...I think we have a troll on our hands.

There's one good one from J.D. Powers.

And the USA Today article:
http://www.usatoday.com/money/autos/...cr-picks_x.htm

I hope you know how to read cause you don't know how to use a search engine.

Again, Hyundai specifically the Santa Fe has been awarded for the third straight year the winner in the Auto Pacific Vehicle Satisfaction Award
in its class. Go here.

and J.D. Power and Associates Reports: Korean-Branded Vehicles Overtake Europeans and Domestics in Initial Quality outpacing both European and Domestic vehicles. See here.

USA Today again has praised Hyundai.

So for all those that like to put down Hyundai, they need to start looking for some other maker to put down. Because Hyundai is really starting to make heads turn and the Big Three are really getting nervous.

Go Hyundai.
