2004 Rodeo 4x4 Conversion

Recently bought a front axle and transfer case for a 2004 3.5 auto. Does anyone have any info on auto tranny types? Do 2wd and 4wd have same output shaft. Is there a transfer case adapter plate required? Or do I need a entirely new tranny?

Re: 2004 Rodeo 4x4 Conversion

The 2004 rodeo direct injected 3.5's came with an asian warner trans. AW 3080LE. An awesome 4spd AT from what I understand. 1993-2004 4cyl's and 3.2's came with a GM 4L30E.

G/luck

Thanks for the info. It will get me started.
I guess I'll look for a Trooper donator or possibly another GM.
