Okay, I am pretty new to Honda's, and have read here about people that own different Accords with fancy engine names, i.e. H22A. So what is the fancy name of my engine so I know what I can compare it to with other people's here. It is a 1995 Accord EX VTEC auto - 4-door. Thanks so much!

Or, you could just name it "Mary." :)

F stands for the series ... 22 stands for the liters (2.2L) .. and the rest is generation mumbo jumbo and stuff ..

Ah, so when was the E22B1 or the F22B2 engines made?

"Mary" is sounding better and better...

I'm pretty sure there wasn't an E series. As far as I know, there was a B, D, F, H, J, and K series.

Thanks, is there a big difference between the F22B1 and F22B2 engines?
