Of course you want to have a test drive.
All the cars i've brought from dealers I've taken straight to my own repair garage to have them checked over. If they find anything i will tell the dealer that it needs to be done.
I'd then take the car out for 3-4 hous. Driving in town and on the highway to get a feel for it.
I'd compare it with any other car i was looking at and do the same thing.
When i have decided what to buy, i'd ask the dealer to have the car for the rest of the day and night and bring it back the next day.
I'm a real fussy bastard when buying a car and when i've got it home i'd go over the whole car and make sure
everything works inside as well as outside.
Then i'd take it back the next day....talk things over and buy it.
