2000 Venture. Want to install one in front of the radiator and like to know which line coming out of the radiator transmission fluid cooler is the one that returns to the transmission. I assume it would be the top one but like to know for sure. Has to be installed in series with the radiator cooler, so the tranny fluid is cooled in the radiator first then goes thru the Hayden cooler then returns to the tranny. http://www.haydenauto.com/transoilcoolers.htm

Found this out by trial and error when I flushed my transmission fluid last year:

The line that points straight back (when removed from the tranny) is the return line. The one that has a 90 degree elbow and connects to the bottom of the tranny is the supply line.

Good deal and thanks much. I'm thinking it's the line that comes out the top of the radiator cooler and if no other way you can crank it cold then hold onto both lines and see which one warms up first and thats the "high" side, or pressure side and the other line is the return. 'Prolly won't get to it until it starts warming up down South but I know it will help keep the tranny much cooler in the hot summer time.

You want the lower line out of the rad as the "return" line,,,,,cooler water is in the lower part of rad,,,,,,if opposite,,,you actually heat tranny oil going back to transaxle,,,check flow

Hmmm . . . . I would think the high side was on the bottom to push the air out but I understand where you're coming from with the cool water in the bottom radiator tank.
