2000 XLT Eddie Bauer Fuel Delivery problem

Hi Friends,
I Have A Problem With My '00 XLT Eddie Bauer. While Driving And Reaching 2,800 Meters altitude (8,500 Feet) The Engine Suddenly Stops. I Have To Wait 5-10 Minutes, then It Runs Again For A While And Again The Same Problem. At Sea Level And At Lower Altitudes Than 8,000 Feet There Is No Problem.

This Problem Appeared When Odometer Reached 50,000 Km (31,000 Miles), Before That Mileage I Have Travel At Higher Altitudes With No Problem.

I Have Change The Fuel Pump, but The Problem still Remains.have Scanned The Sensors At Sea Level, and Everything Seems To Be Ok.

IŽll Appreciate Any Help To Find And Solve This Problem.
SEND PM

Thanks.

Have the PCM scanned when it will not start. Look closely at the MAF Baro reading. If the hotwire is dirty and the altitude changes that much, it may be trying to lean it out so much to compensate for a bad reading that it dies.
