I was considering purchasing a car, but full insurance for me (18/male) will be between 380- 500 bucks a months. The car would have to be in my name because the loan will be. Is there anyway around having to pay this insurance and keeping the car in my name?

I know if I got the lowest limits w/comp and collision and limited tort, insurance would probably be about 300-400 a month. Still very high. Any ideas how to get around this?

everywhere i looked it was going to be about that for me too. but geico wants about 180/mth for full insurance. thats for me on a brand new fusion. It also depends on the car you are looking at though. im 20/m fixing on being 21.

when i buy my car i am going to geico.

180 is pretty good, what kind of limits is that(I dont think even minimum limits would be remotley that cheap for me).

I would never switch from State Farm, one because I work there and more importantly because we get a multi line discount because my mom has policies with them too so they will be the cheapest for me.
