Have you painted your breaks? I think it would looke even better if you did. I couldn't tell from the pix.

You've got a really nice color scheme going with the black with red accents. But who did the black on the front? are those streaks in the paint? or is it just water? are maybe a reflection in the picture?

I have to be honest. I don't really like the red accents on the exterior. That's just my own preferance. I do think you did a very nice job on it. It looks really nice from a quality perspective. If I were a fan of the red/black exterior, I would like it more.

That's the great thing about this hobby. You can make things your own, you can do what you want, you can personalize your vehicle. Props to you for the courage to do what YOU like with your car.

The "streaks" are just water on the car.

Haven't painted my breaks yet, buying a new set of wheels for the car, will paint them when I change the wheels. Speaking of which, anyone need to replace a scratched rim?

StageOneGalant -
I was thinking of buying the stillen body kit, the one that is skirts all the way around the car. Maybe paint that red and see how it looks.

Haze, I may need 1!! how much? I am down in San Diego. How far is Fortuna from here? How much you looking for? Are you going to get new tires too?

Well, it is like this. You forgot to paint the rest of the undercar. Should have done the breaks and the front/rear ground portion of the car to match it, which is why it does not look that good. but other than that, it is sweet, but it just looks halfway done. Are you going to finish it? Ha ha ha. Seriously, I know you personally, but you know that you just got lazy, I told you that for $400 we would do the rest of it at the body shop, which is where you should have got it done in the first place.

He is in Fortuna, which is just outside of Eureka, and yes, he is lame enough to sell his rims, he will put some 12's on it I am sure. LMAO Actually, he just siold one I think, or he is going to sell one. The price was for like $300.00 and the old rim and tire off of the other guy's car, but the last time that I talked to him, he said that he was going to sell his rims for $300.00 per rim. They look brand new, no scratches, etc. Might even be able to talk to him about the tires.

I don't know if we can sell things on the forums or not, pm me and we'll talk. What do you think is a fair price? I would have to ship it to you, buyer usually assumes responsibility for shipping. I will find out how much to ship, don't think it will be too bad

am i the only one that thinks this is the stupidest thing in the world. even if he got the stillen lip kit and then painted the whole kit red, and his calipers......the thing would still look butt. whether or not its kewl to be different, we might want to strive to have goodlooking cars as well. this kinda thing is what riceboys do while they're picking up their APC banners and windshield washer led's. thats wrong to do to a civic. but especially wrong to do to a beautiful car like a spec v. you need to rethink your look.

Ha ha ha. Good replies. Here I was thinking that respect on the Net was long gone. As far as the color goes, I guess that this is what makes you an individual. Funny thing is that there is another Spec V in Humboldt County that is asking our body shop for an indentical paint job, only he is going to do the front and rear as well, in addition to the brake pads. I must admit that although I think that it is unfinished, it definitely sets the interior of the car off and turns a lot of heads when he drives by, now whether or not that is because it looks so stupid or because they are truly impressed, I do not know. Ha ha ha. It is definitely a starting point, and when he is FINISHED with it, I am sure that it will look good.

I admire someone that likes to be different I really do, but DAWG, what's with the Red sideskirts? Please tell me you have more Ideas and your not just gonna leave it like that. Maybe I'm the only one, but hey, you asked for people's opinion's right? Peace:alien:

I almost feel bad about painting it like that now. Everyone that sees it around here thinks it looks good for the most part, or maybe that is just what they say to my face...

What I always liked about you Haze50, is that you always had the guts to be yourself, even if other people did not like it. Never EVER change that. Now if you can just finish the rest of the damn car.... LOL I think the main thing is that it just looks unfinished.

Haze50, Dude I wasn't trying to upset you, I'm just wondering what made you want to do that. Like the other guy said after me. It just looks unfinished. No matter what people think, you just be yourself. You have a SpecV, tha's all I need to say.:D

I think it looks ok, I agree with the others that say you should finish the other parts... Silver would look mighty sexy too...

It didn't look like you lowered it from the pics... is it? Lowering it would make it look a lot nicer too...

personally, i don't like the paint job, but i like cars that are simple and understated. i think haze is going in the right direction if he wants to seperate his car from the crowd.
