Question Drivetrain Slack!!

I have a question for the experts. I own a 99 xcab prerunner and have been very pleased with its performance! But I am preparing to sell because the prerunner can't compete with the 4x4 - I've just got to have a tacoma 4x4- who would of guessed? anyway the truck has got 72k miles and I am starting to feel slack in the drive train at the stoplight (only during starts and stops) a little bump like the u-joint or something. Toyota told me this is common on tacoma’s- is it and what is the problem if so? I'm selling it and hate to have someone feel this jerk and think the trans. going out... anything I can do about it?
Thank for your help.
your Toyota friend Jeff
