the car says it has 130k on it , but i really think the dealer might have missed with the odometer " a friend of mine knows the dealer, and says that he always does stuff like this"
i looked up the vin number in the yahoo search engine , and i clicked on " cache" in the first result and it said that the same car has 214,198 mileas on it , so i am confused ....

CARFAX Expires On: 02/13/2006

I've used carfax twice. Just out of curiousity to see where some of my old cars have ended up since i have sold them.

Other than that I don't think carfax is all it is cracked up to be.
2 of my cars were totaled and nothing was mentioned about that on the reports after over a year of time had elapsed.
I would not depend on it for vital info on a car you are about to buy.
