I am swapping out my 4.3 to a 1995 5.7 LT1 out of a Impalla SS into my 1989 S10 2WD p.u.. My ? is can I remove the fuel injection and put on a intake and carb?

I remember stumbling across an intake manifold made for the LT1 in a Jegs/Summit catalog. If I remember correctly, you remove the oil pump drive unit, install the intake and use an HEI distributor.

There's also an S10 V-8 site that has motor mount adapters, headers, radiators, etc... to make the swap easier.
