Exclamation 99 Venture - fuel system problem??

Van has been "missing" for last month. I brought it to one mechanic and he changed the fuel filter, checked the plugs, and tested it out on the computer. There wasn't a miss history or any indication of a problem. I thought maybe it was some bad gas and ran some ingector cleaner/gas additives and it was better for a while. The last few days it has been hesitating a little while going up hills. The yesterday the service engine soon light came on (flashing) and it was running much worst? I did fill it up and put some different fuel system cleaner in on Saturday night.

Does this spell fuel pump? Could it be that the new cleaner let something loose?

Thank you for any help.

Could be any number of things. You need to get the codes read. If you don't have a code reader, auto parts chains like Autozone will read them for you for free. Write them down and post them here along with the mileage and any other relevant history and someone should be able to help you.

thanks I will remember that for next time. As it turned out it was a plug wire the was loose/uncovered at the back of the engine.
