2004 Blazer 4.3L runs rough

I have a 2004 Blazer ZR2 with 20000 miles. A few nights ago I was offroading and got hung up. After we got it out, it seemed to run fine. But the next morning when I was going to work it started up rough and it then proceeded to run rough at low RPM's. It is so bad that it sends a vibration through the truck. After driving it for ten to fifteen minutes it clears up and idles fine and drives fine at low RPM's. I did not over rev it or abuse it in anyway trying to get unstuck. Anyway my question is what would cause this problem, is it engine problem? I do not want to take it in for warranty work because I don't know if it will be covered under warratny. Any suggestions would be helpfull.

Welcome to the AF!

Bring it to a dealer and tell him you are having vibration problems. Let him figure it out. Just make sure you tell him to give you an estimate before he does anything to your vehicle. That way you can avoid paying for work you don't want done. Since it is within the warranty period, he should look at it without charge.

(Don't volunteer anything about your driving habits. Just play it stupid. Driving off-road shouldn't void your warranty)

I agree, just make sure that there aren't massive amounts of dirt, mud, clay, etc. underneath, before you take it in.

I drove my old Nissan through a bog and grog years ago. Brought it to the dealer for vibe issues and when I picked it up he showed me a garbage can full of mud from the skid plates etc. I guess I didn't clean as well as I thought! I told him I worked construction and it was from the sites. He smiled and said I was all set. LOL!
