Hi, im new on here. I've been looking into selling my current car and getting a 3rd gen supra. I've been researching them somewhat and getting some info off http://www.supraforums.com , but the site dosent work anymore for me.

. I tried it at a few of my friends houses, and used a few diff isps.

Im basicly just wondering what happend to the site. Or am I just doing something really stupidly wrong?

Please let me know if you have any info.

Well thats good that its not just me. Supraforums is/was a good site. I guess i'll just stay here from now on though :smoka: .

Anyway heres a pic of my car.... 1988 Fiero Coupe, I4, auto, sunroof,midengine,slow. Its a fun car but id really like a faster car with lots of mod ability(and back seats). From what i've learned the mkIII sounds about right for me.

So do many people on here have mkIII's or is this mostly the 93-98 supras? I'd love to see some pics if anyone has mkIII's, I really think they are great looking cars. Anyways.... ill probably be online here allot bothering everybody with lots of questions lol.

modern muscle car net supra forum

of the two modern muscle car is busier then this one and suprboard

no one knows what is up with supra forums it si avanity board by Warran and goes down often it is the busiest of the boards HTH

supra fan, how is this one worse than supra board [uses a very crappy script, doubt it will ever get any popular] or modern muscle car?

don't mean to insult you I moniter all three boards simply put ain't no one here. If you can attract the supra dawgs here this would be a great board. Remember it ain't the size of the boat it is the motion of the ocean. There are only a couple of guys here who have supra so the leval of intrest is pretty low.

Yep, I totally agree with you.

Here is why I think this Supra forum would be a better home than the 2 other ones you have mentioned-

-1. the software we use is fast, stable, and feature full.
-2. the server we are on can handle A LOT of traffic, and I mean a lot.. we had 578 concurrent users on the forums and the server kept standing proud and the experience for everyone was as speedy as normal.
-3. the financial backing allows us to never have the problems others will - they will shut down

-4. i dont know about admins on other sites, but i actually listen to the members, everyday, especially on AIM

-5. AF is already growing fast as hell.. and we just got featured in Sport Compact Car September issue [page 61

].

All that we need is some more supra owners to get it started.. then it will just keep growing exponentially...

So guys, if you want to help create a community the way YOU want it to be, this is the place.

To start with, I will assign couple of moderators to the Supra forum. Anyone interested?

Contact me only if youre very serious about this project.. We can easily make it the most popular supra forum on the web. We just need dedication from several people.

And as soon as we start getting some activity in this forum, we will break it up to several sub-forums, to let it grow further.

If you need and example of how well AF can handle traffic, look at the G20 forum. Could be the same way for the Supras...

Ok guys, do you all know any more Supra owners? If you do, please ask them to come over here, we could build a community here.. just the start will be hard.. to get the owners here so that stick around.
