Instrument Panel

I own a 99 chevy pickup. The area where the odomoter is and it tells you what gear you are in is not showing up. This is a digital display and is very common on most late model chevys. Any help would be appreciated!

Re: Instrument Panel

You are definately right it is common, first off make sure your dimmer switch isnt doing it. just because you can see the light behind your gauges doesnt mean thats its alright. most of the people that ask me this are able to fix the problem by messing with the dimmer. other than that i tell them to get a hold of their nearest chevy dealer and ask them what happened. they should tell you and they also might try to sell something to you.
