My speedometer/odometer stopped moving and the problem started. About a half hour of driving, then power steering goes and HICAS light come on. Restart the car, and things are okay for a while again. Just fixed the meters, I hope it was related and won't recur. Please help if you know! ncu17 01-17-2005, 12:23 PM I recently had the same problem with my R32 GTS-T Type M. Hi, Any response from anyone on this issue? ronin3 01-17-2005, 01:03 PM When the speedometer was fixed, the problem went away. Probably related to the speed sensor. Miss that car... sadaukar 01-30-2005, 11:45 PM can also be that your battery is getting old. computer controlled cars demand correct voltages. i had a problem with mine and a new battery fixed everything GTRdriver 02-05-2005, 03:47 AM Have you checked you Power Steering Fluid. I had a similar problem. I was told by somebody else to check my fluid. When I added more fluid, the light stayed off. If you already checked that, then I am as lost as you. HypeR33 02-07-2005, 04:11 AM I have a similar problem with my 33 GTS-T. Do you by any chance have an aftermarket steering wheel? This has been discussed on other skyline forums as being the cause of the problem, with the steering wheel not lined up with the sensor properly. Something for you to check out if you have an aftermarket wheel. Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
