Any of you guys ever replace your carpet? I got a little water in the floor boards in Napa the other day, My car was parked at work and the water came up to the underside of the floor boards and went through the body into the carpet. I wet vacuumed the carpet for now and ordered a new carpet kit. I have the service manual on CD but haven't looked at it yet for this. I was just wondering if some one could give me an idea of how long and any thing I should look out for. I plan on getting the carpet out and washing the floor pan to make sure that any bad stuff in the water is gone and then drying it out before I reinstall the new carpet. Is there any holes that have plugs in them in the floor boards that I can remove while I am doing this? Once again thanks I just want to get all the info I can before I start the work, I will be doing this in the garage and have another car to drive so time is not an issue just want to do it right so I don't have any problems down the road.

Ok I got started today and its not to bad a job. I followed the step by step from the CD repair manual that I got on ebay. Taking my time and labeling everything. Waiting on the new carpet also.
